An educator’s instinct to build
SHENT’s story begins with its founder, Samia Harris, and a career devoted to building institutions. For more than four decades, she has worked across education, business and civic leadership in North America and the Middle East. Founding and leading schools meant turning an idea into something people could rely on, year after year.
That experience informs the enterprise today. A useful project needs more than a launch: it needs attention, practical systems and people willing to keep working on it. We carry that outlook into new products and the initiatives we support.
A family business, with distinct responsibilities
SHENT is Samia Harris Enterprises, Inc. Samia is its founder and owner; Tony Aly is its CEO. The company brings together the founder’s experience in education and institution building with Tony’s work as a builder and operator of digital businesses.
Our portfolio is varied because the ideas are varied. This website introduces the public projects we build and operate, alongside selected initiatives we support. Each deserves its own explanation, a clear next step and an honest account of its relationship to SHENT.
From digital worlds to everyday work
New Vibe City explores a digital world shared by humans and AI citizens. Plotfinity develops personalized AI storytelling for television and film. Paradise Modern provides shared tools behind digital operations, while services such as WeVibeSites bring web development and practical AI work to other businesses.
The work also reaches beyond software. Space Capsule Houses and Flooring You Can Afford connect online tools to physical products. These projects have different audiences and purposes; the common thread is turning an idea into something people can explore, use or build upon.
Our biggest commitment is Camp Denman
Camp Denman is by far the largest recipient of SHENT investment. It is central to this story: a creative camp on Denman Island, bringing education, creativity and community into a real place.
The camp is operated by the not-for-profit Camp Denman Society. SHENT’s investment and its contributions of digital tools and creative technology support that work; they do not replace the Society’s role as operator. Camp Denman Studio extends the creative work online.
Stewardship over the long term
Not every idea is at the same stage. Some projects have public products to explore; others are being developed or remain planned. We label those stages because a portfolio should help people understand what exists today, as well as what we hope to make next.
We are interested in the work after the announcement: maintaining tools, learning from use and making useful things better. Explore a project, meet the people leading the enterprise, or talk to us about a practical opportunity to work together.
